Problem Statement

Wayward reason is a country music band that needed a website. When they chose to use me to bring their band to the world on the internet i was excited. I love country music and designing for bands so for this project I got to mix my passions.

Challenges

Getting the band together for photos and not practice
Create a new feel to the band space online. Not “just another band site”

Designed in Sketch

From the wireframes to the functioning prototype I used sketch to do all the designing. I used this opportunity to show off my skills in web design and development. I chose to use sketch due to it being a mac only platform and I was most familiar with the Mac platform. While designing this website I got to use some of the tools sketch offered and gained some useful knowledge and expertise.

Custom Coded

From the start this was a custom code job using HTML 5, CSS 3, PHP, and JavaScript. I opted to use the Editor Atom. This was due to it being highly customizable ann new to me so i wanted to learn to use more than just sublime text.
